Privacy policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026. Applies to the cache.lat website and the cache.lat WordPress plugin.
1. Who we are
cache.lat is a brand of TuNegocioEnLinea.net ("TNL", "we"), based in El Salvador. TNL is responsible for processing the data described in this policy, both on the cache.lat website and in the operation of the WordPress plugin we distribute.
2. What data we process
2.1 When using the plugin on your WordPress
The plugin communicates with cache.lat's central engine (cache.lat/core/api.php) solely to generate the static HTML of the pages you choose to cache. That involves sending:
- The public URL of each page being cached.
- The public HTML content that page returns (the same any visitor would see).
- Technical identification data for the site and, if applicable, the license: domain, a locally generated site key, and the activation key when you activate a license.
No other information from your WordPress install (users, orders, admin content, database) is sent to cache.lat. AVIF/WebP image conversion and page optimizations (fonts, JS, minification) are done by processing the HTML of public pages, with the same data scope.
2.2 When visiting the cache.lat website
Like any website, we log basic technical access data (IP address, user agent, pages visited) for security and statistical purposes. The site uses Google Fonts (which may involve a connection to Google's servers to load typefaces) and, when active, Google Ads/Analytics to measure campaign performance — see section 6.
2.3 When buying a license
Purchasing, billing and the license activation email are handled exclusively by TuNegocioEnLinea.net through its own store (WooCommerce). Payment and billing data (name, email, payment details) are processed and stored by TNL under its own policy; cache.lat does not receive them directly.
3. What we use this data for
- Generating and updating the static HTML the plugin requests.
- Validating and managing licenses (active plan, days remaining, page limit).
- Diagnosing technical issues (permissions, .htaccess, generation times).
- Security: preventing improper access (for example, blocking repeated login attempts to the admin panel).
- Aggregate usage statistics for the cache.lat site and, when active, advertising campaign measurement.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell data to third parties. We share it only with:
- TuNegocioEnLinea.net, as the party responsible for selling and managing licenses (domain/license data needed to validate your plan).
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, DNS) needed to operate cache.lat.
- Google, for Google Fonts and, when active, Google Ads/Analytics, under their own privacy policies.
5. Where data is stored
The generated static HTML always stays on your own WordPress hosting — cache.lat does not keep a permanent copy of your pages beyond what's needed to process them. License and account data is stored in the cache.lat engine's database, with periodic backups for operational security.
6. Cookies and advertising
The cache.lat site may use its own technical cookies (for example, to remember that you dismissed a notice) and, when campaigns are active, Google Ads/Analytics cookies to measure their performance. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings; this does not affect your ability to use the plugin.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account/license data, or deactivate the plugin at any time (which stops all data sent to cache.lat). To exercise these rights or ask any privacy question, write to us through TuNegocioEnLinea.net's contact form.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the plugin's features change. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
